Animal Shelters

I have volunteered many hundreds of hours to local shelters in NYC, NJ and Florida.  I worked my way up from cage cleaner and walker to training other volunteers and staff in safe handling and safe walking, behavior assessment, behavior modification, and helping make dogs with minor issues, such as impulsivity and jumping, more adoptable by teaching them that there are alternatives to these behaviors which are much better.  If you have puppies at the shelter, I can make sure they’re socialized properly so that theyhave the best chance to grow into “bombproof” dogs.   I  also foster dog, and who could be better to foster a dog than a trainer who is also a behavior expert?  If you are a shelter or foster organization, reach out to me.  I can help.
